Arch Forum is a collective of mid-size architecture firms across British Columbia, bringing senior firm leaders together to build stronger relationships, share knowledge and support one another. With nearly 50 firms engaged, Arch Forum creates a trusted space for open conversation about the opportunities and challenges shaping architectural practices.
Through regular in-person gatherings and an active member email group, we encourage meaningful connections, candid exchange and collective learning. As the community grows, our ambition is to continue strengthening the collective voice of mid-size firms and advocate for positive change on the regulatory, governmental and industry issues affecting our businesses and profession.

Promote transparent, qualification-based selection processes that prioritize competence, experience, design quality, and value over lowest-price competition. Advocate for reasonable scopes of service, balanced contractual terms, fair allocation of risk, appropriate compensation for additional work, and timely payment by public- and private-sector clients.
Represent the interests of architectural practices in government decisions relating to taxation, business costs, professional services, and regulatory compliance. Identify and challenge disproportionate financial or administrative burdens that disadvantage architectural firms, particularly mid-sized practices competing with larger organizations.
Establish a unified voice for mid-sized architectural practices whose interests may be underrepresented in broader industry discussions. Build a collaborative platform to share knowledge, develop evidence-based policy positions, and engage governments, municipalities, industry bodies, developers, and clients while advocating for fair opportunities and policies.
